Now, we are going to take a vote on a few important things out of the various opinions that we’ve shared about cost reduction and improving productivity.

 

The first factory that’s running in China is inefficient as well as raising a lot of problems.

현재 중국에서 운영되고 있는 제 1공장은 생산성도 많이 떨어지고 문제도 많이 제기 되고 있습니다.

 

We have to consider our employees and the cost we invested in the facility as well as many things that have not yet been solved.

직원들과 그 동안 들어간 비용도 생각해야 하고, 아직 해결되지 않은 많은 문제점들이 있습니다.

• Attention, please! Now, we are going to take a vote on a few important things out of the various opinions that we’ve shared about cost reduction and improving productivity. The first factory that’s running in China is inefficient as well as raising a lot of problems. Nonetheless, it isn’t easy to make a decision to shut down the factory. We have to consider our employees and the cost we invested in the facility as well as many things that have not yet been solved. That’s why we are taking a vote here. All those in favor of shutting down the factory, raise your hands.

• Hold on a minute before we take the vote. What happens to the factory workers if the factory is shutting down? They’ll probably lose their job in a day.

• We shouldn’t discuss that here. It’s not an issue to be dealt with now.

• You can’t say that, though. The solution to that issue could affect the vote.

• Well, it can’t be determined at the moment. We will take a vote first and think about the solution based on the results. Show me your hands if you agree with shutting down the factory. I can see more than half the members here are in favor of this motion. According to the results of the vote, the first factory will be closed.
